error message when install windows xp sp2
Windows XP, Windows XP installation
i tried to install windows xp sp2 on sata ahci hard disk (pc desktop) acer quad core 2.5 , board (no information) , hdd maby like that (wds....)
1- i used nlite software create win xp and add the drivers(iastor,iaahci,...) no action still error
2- i tried floppy (f6)
drivers on floppy(iastor,iaahci,...) , i use s (specify) i saw (5 drivers)i select one by one , the win xp could not collect any right drivers of them, still no action ,error message
so , what is the problem ?

If you are facing problem to install device driver on your computer. And you do not know what the exactly driver you need to install.
You should try to scan your computer with "astra32" . It is a driver detective tool. It will provide information to your exact driver that you need.

Change the disk type in bios of your computer from ahci to ide and try again.

You need to get the SATA controller drivers from your motherboard manufacturer and put that on a floppy. There should be some sort of motherboard identification. Maybe a sticker on the bottom?

I’m confused is the error due to XP SP2 download? Or did this download successfully, please report the exact error message?
