Error message trying to delete message in Outlook 07 using Exchange 2003
Exchange 2003, Outlook 2007, Outlook
A message that a user is trying to delete or move to DELETED ITEMS gives the following error:

The messaging interface has returned an unkown error. If the problem persist, restart Outlook.

Which we have tried, however the message does not delete.

Does anyone have any clues to why this is happening and how it can be resolved?

Have you tried deleting it in Outlook Web Access? OWA seems to have more success in fixing problems like these than the OL client.
