Error message in Internet Explorer
When I open internet explorer, I keep getting a "FaileduserInit:undefined" message.  How do I fix this?

It could be caused by some add-on.

I would suggest disabling all add-ons (how to do that could be different depending on the IE version) and see if that solves the problem. If it does, then you can start enabling them one a time and see if the problem reappears, so you can identify the problematic add-on and uninstall it.

Also, I would recommend a scan with some anti-spyware program.

Please provide more details so we can give you better assistance. What is your OS version? What version of IE are you using? Were there any changes made before this started occuring? What troubleshooting (if any) have you done so far? Have you chancked the event logs? If there are errors, please give them in detail. Thanks!

Check toolbars specifically (especially the Yahoo toolbar). I’ve seen the yahoo toolbar do this countless times!
