trying to log on to crystal and getting error message 1031, is there something missing?

I found a pdf with the errors explained via google. I searched "crystal report error message 1031" and found the documentation on the second page. The google link is called "[PDF] Service Pack Readme (Adapt)" It is a ftp site so can't post the link here but I am sure you can find it. Starts with ftp1.businessobjects.com/.../cr85win_en_sp3.pdf. I am not sure what service pack you are running but the info I found is from sp3- There are other PDF's for the other SP's. Anyways enough rambling on page 63 if found:
ADAPT00105290 Patch ID: 34901321 Old EID: 1031
Description:
Crystal Reports incorrectly qualifies tables from Oracle Lite 8i which causes errors when a report is refreshed.
New Behavior:
Oracle Lite 8i tables are now qualified correctly.

This points to your problem might be caused by not upgrading your service packs. Hope this helps!
