CREATE DATABASE permission denied in database ‘master’.

You will need to have Create Database permissions granted to you before you can create a database. Talk to the administrator of the SQL Server or, if you are the administrator, grant yourself that permission.

If you are the sysadmin on the server you will have create database rights. However, if you are running your Create Database task using an alternate login that has fewer rights, then that login will need to have additional rights granted.

Your description is to vague, it would be helpful if you put the error you receive, error code included.

Instructions for that particular solution can be; 1.Start --> All Programs --> Microsoft SQL Server 2005 --> Configuration Tools --> SQL Server Surface Area Configuration 2.Add New Administrator 3.Select 'Member of SQL Server SysAdmin role on SQLEXPRESS' and add it to right box. 4.Click Ok.
