 Error code 10: Function sequence error using CPYTOIMPF on AS/400

I am using the CPYTOIMPF function on an AS400 to copy from one data base file to another. I want to end up with a .CSV file format. It worked once but now I get the following error: Message Id: SQ999999 Error occurred in SQL Call Level Interface. A procedure call encountered an error. The error code is 10. This error code says: Function sequence error. What does this mean?

<i>We asked our site expert, Kent Milligan if he could provide an answer. He responded with this:</i> The error you describe sounds like a defect in the DB2 engine. I would apply the latest Database Group PTF onto your server. If the problem still persists, then you should contact IBM Support.
