On Friday evening I loaded the latest Cum PTF's for V5R2. The box IPL'd without any problems and all the PTF's were "Temporarily applied". However, after a second IPL yesterday (scheduled weekly IPL) it failed and the screen SRC read B0006 1406. Has anyone any idea what this could be? The IBM reference manual states : "B006 xxxx It may indicate a common Licensed Internal Code failure." I have yet to load the Hyper fixes. Thanks for any help you may have.

Hi,

I would suggest loading the Hiper fixes and seeing if they help (I believe HIPER stands for High Impact PERvasive – which basically means they’re important).

Regards,

Martin Gilbert.

The HIPERs should be loaded with the cume. If not with it, then before it. Tom
