		<description><![CDATA[I believe the IP validation and other info that Gent01 mentioned is possibly to cut down on e-mail spam bots. Not a bad idea. On the flip side, sometimes to much security slows down progress if you need to develop a workaround.]]></description>

Email servers will do a reverse lookup on you IP and see if it matches the presented domain name. Some even go as far as checkign the MX record to see if your server is an authorized smtp server for your domain. =]]></description>
