Error 5: Size of converted data is greater than the receiver buffer length

AS/400, V5R4, QPJOBLOG, AS/400 errors

We have an i5 270 Machine with V5R4M0.

When I tried to Start the HTTP Administration Admin Instance, The WRKACTJOB shows that Admin instance is starting, but a few seconds later Admin Instance Job ends. In the Spool of QTMHHTTP, QPJOBLOG says "Error occurred converting data. Reason 5."

And Reason 5 is "The size of the converted data is greater than the receiver buffer length."

We've 1.5 GB RAM for this Machine – is this not enough or is there something else that I should do?

Have you applied all the latest PTF's ? Sounds like something that a PTF should fix for you. I think this question has been asked here before.
