Microsoft Exchange, Exchange 2003, Exchange monitoring and logging, Exchange Event IDs

I have an Exchange 2003 server which has been reporting the following error message:

Event Type:	Error
Event Source: MSExchangeTransport
Event Category: Categorizer
Event ID: 6009
Date: 16.12.2007
Time: 11:52:33
User: N/A
Computer: P0101S0021
Description:
Categorizer encountered a hard error while processing a message. While processing user 'SMTP:antivirus@DOMAIN.local', the function 'CCatExpandableRecip::HrExpandAttribute' called 'pIUTF8->BeginUTF8AttributeEnumeration' which returned error code '0xc0040550' (). I checked the global distribution group and noticed that it didn’t have any members. I’m wondering if that could be causing this error message, since the error message states that there were no mailboxes found for delivery of the email.
