 erasing outbox bad messages
I put a bad e-mail address on an email. I keep getting the message that it's bad and then frequently it pops up to send again. VERY irritating! My work outlook express has a way to erase messages in the outbox in" tools". My home outlook express has it but it is somewhere else. I found it once before but it was a painful process. Please help me! DVD1221@embarqmail.com

Answer Wiki:
Your question seems a little ambiguous to me, but i'll try to help. In Outlook Express go to the Tools menu, select options. Under the general tab and under the sub heading Send/Receive, uncheck any features that check mail automatically. Click OK. Manually send receive mail. This should progpogate an instance of the e-mail in question in the outbox. Select it and delete it, and then delete it again. Close Outlook Express. If you get a message that says "There are still messages in your Outbox, send them now?" Click NO! Re-open Outlook Express, go to the Outbox, select the e-mail that is there and delete it. Go to deleted items and delete that same file. This should work.
