Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

I would be very careful using a dot matrix printer for printing barcodes……just a thought

Sorry about the quick answer before...... Best advice is to check the Epson web site. They should have something. Paul

You want to print 3of9 barcodes, on labels maybe? Using dot matrix for the tractor feed? What program are you printing from? If it is windows get the correct font and go. As far as escape codes for the epson - de nada! 'Esc codes' change fonts available in the printer ROM, set "BOLD" by causing doublestrike characters, set italic by causing an oblique soffset when printing, Unless you have changed the ROM or it actually came with the 39 barcode font, then escape codes will NOT print barcode. If you want to use the 'APA' (all points addressable) mode to force barcodes, then each code would require a separate sequence several lines long. Get a barcode package and print.

If you were an IT pro, rather than just trying to gain free advertising, you might use free tools such as the Open Source Java Barcode Generator or Open Source Barcode Library in C. Why pay for a questionable product when code libraries exist that you can customize any way needed? -- Tom
