EOF marker in text file from AS400 to PC

I'm a programmer/analyst using an AS400. We create multiple files daily on our AS400, copy them to PC documents using CPYTOPCD with TRNFMT = *TEXT, then upload them to other data processors. This works very well with most data processors but a few require that there be no EOF marker at the end of the text file. Right now I have my Operations dept. opening the text file, deleting the EOF marker, then uploading to the data processor. Is there any way to remove that EOF marker programmatically using CL or DOS so my operators don't have to do it manually?

Hi,

Maybe you could try CPYTOSTMF or CPYTOIMPF instead of CPYTOPCD?

Martin Gilbert.
