I currently use CA Autosys for job scheduling and have an SAP implementation project just starting. I am trying to decide if I want to keep Autosys and also use it for SAP job scheduling, use Redwood for SAP and replace autosys with Redwood for non-SAP scheduling, or go to UC4 for SAP and non-SAP. These choices give me one scheduler across the enterpise.
I have knowledge of scheduling but no SAP knowledge or experience,
so my questions are around the following:
Do I need to be concerned with having one scheduler?
Should I just use Redwood for SAP and interface to it?
Is there a major difference in Autosys, Redwood and UC4 both for SAP and Non- SAP scheduling?
We live with scheduling product decsions for a long time, so trying to make the correct strategic choice.
Thanks for your responses and sharing your knowledge,
