Programs such as Adaware and SpyBot have their advantages for helping to remove Malware and Spyware programs, but they don't prevent them from occuring. Not sure how large your enterprise is, but try not using Internet Explorer. Mozilla Foxfire is an excellent browser that I have been testing for months, and I get no annoying popups and less problems with Spyware. It is also free. Opera is another excellent browser, but is about $40.00. I am a Microsoft engineer, but I am tired of the problems with Internet Explorer and I have found that Mozilla pretty much fixes that problem. One caveat with Mozilla however, is that it does block popups and on some websites that you need to access this can cause problems. However, I have found that I can tweak the settings to get to anywhere I want to go. Good luck. We are all battling the same problem. Rhonda

There are two new enterprise level products out, PestPetrol and spysweeper. I beta tested both of these. they both work well. for myself I prefer pest patrol. CA has just bought pestpatrol and is starting to market it under the CA banner. Spysweeper is sold by Webroot.. www.webroot.com and www.pestpatrol.com. both of these products are managed from a central managment console, that allows you to control their behavior on the desktops in your organization., Both are excellent at keeping the badguys out. and all updates are controled by the consel as well as installs etc.
