You can use bit locker to encrypt the batch file. Batch files by them selves don’t have a way to encrypt them.

Check out the bat2exe utility. It may meet your needs. I have not tested on Vista or higher so proceed with caution.

    U may also use Folder Lock / pgp encrypt to overcome this issue !

    I second Labnuke99's suggestion. I have used bat2exe in the past and it does a great work hiding bat scripts' code.

    If a .BAT file is encrypted, it essentially ceases to be a .BAT file. That is, you need to decrypt it in order to use it. Decryption may be started by entering a password/pass-phrase or some similar action, but then you have the problem of maintaining and protecting that password. There are lots of potential problems with putting passwords into a .BAT file. Simplest solution is simply not to do it. There are always better choices. Something like bat2exe has good potential, but it's still better not to need it in the first place. Tom

    No free SW has cent % satisfaction. There r no free SW that fulfill that what u want. If u get by cost, now u have to claim that what u want. There r several SW that can do the same with/without cost.
