The problem is with the XP Epson FX 80 print driver. I will make the assumption you are using the native XP driver for this printer. If so, you are experiencing the problem with old equipment using Microsoft provided driver where the manufacture (in this case Epson) will not create a new driver for their product. SO, Microsoft provides a driver that basically works, you get ink on the paper but not all functions you expect are supported as neither Microsoft and for sure Epson will not take the time to write drivers for old equipment that they will not get a return on the man-hours required to do a full functioning device driver.
