Answer Wiki

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

However cookies are enabled by default. And there is no way to enable or disable them.

Just try this:-

> Open your Browser,
> Go to Options
> Cache Operations
> Cookie Cache.

It show 56. If you see any amount, it means cookies are enabled.

Then what if you want to download a app and it says that you're cookies has been disabled. What do you do then? Cause you can't continue to download the app.

Since this is a product question, your best choice is to ask in a product support forum. Try searching the BlackBerry Curve Support forum. If an answer can't be found already there, submit a new question there that covers your actual device, OS and service provider. -- Tom

What can i do? I really can’t continue to download any app.
    .
I suggest that you follow instructions that are already given above. There's not much point in asking the question again when the only available suggestions are already given. There isn't anything we can add.

Normally, cookies are enabled for the browser of the Blackberry smartphone by default. However, some company-issued phones may adhere to information sharing policies that prevent cookies from being enabled. If that is not the case, then enabling cookies can be done from the browser menu.

First, open the browser and press the Menu button. In the menu, select Options. In the Options menu, look for Browser Options. There should be a toggle box labeled “Accept Cookies”. This box should be checked, indicating that the phone will receive and store information from websites.

Having a large cache of stored data can lead to slower performance. It’s good practice to occasionally clear your browser’s cache, which can be done from the same menu, to improve processing speed.

@Lodyjones1948, try to clear cookies first, probably, it is over memory or like that symptoms. Also app installation depends on model of BB or compatibility. For more help, please link here: http://support.blackberry.com/kb/articleDetail?articleNumber=000003865
