how to enable and disable the USB without using external software? Is there any options in Windows registry? and also to know to set password to USB port? When a USB device connected to the system how to prompt password?

Click Start > Control Panel > Security > and look for the icon BitLocker
Now open it and select Turn BitLocker On. And follow the prompts in the wizard to select the USB port that u wish to protect and create a password.
You can also use “Rohos Mini Drive” for this purpose. Don’t worry, it is completely free.
