 Enable and disable usb from Windows registry
how to enable and disable the USB without using external software? Is there any options in Windows registry? and also to know to set password to USB port? When a USB device connected to the system how to prompt password?

Click Start > Control Panel > Security > and look for the icon BitLocker Now open it and select Turn BitLocker On. And follow the prompts in the wizard to select the USB port that u wish to protect and create a password. U can also use "<i>Rohos Mini Drive</i>" for this purpose.
