I was recently sent me an email and attached to it were some other emails that were saved with the .eml file extension. One of the recipients of the original emails has since left my company and his emails are on forward to another colleague. Although these were attachments, the recipient list on the attached emails is now showing the current forward receiver as being the party to the original exchanges even though they were not employed by us at the time. Any thoughts as to why this occurred and if correct, as should we ever need to pass these on further we need to show that the departed employee was the original recipient? Hope that makes sense!!!!!! Thanks
