EMC Symetrix DMX- Power Query


EMC Symetrix DMX, Storage, EMC

I have a EMC Symetrix DMX, which requires three phase power. Unfortunately our site only has single phase power. Is it possible to bypass the three phase PDU and connect directly to the 10A connections on the power strips at the back of the boxes. Will this work?

Yes it will work, however, you should install your own single-phase PDU's to power the hardware. I use my own APC PDU's for my DMX 800.
