I purchased a cx400 off ebay and found out that it is running a really old version of the flare os. Does anyone have a newer version or know where i can get it? Apparently EMC does not allow downloading it anymore and is no longer supported. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

You would need to have a powerlink account (powerlink.emc.com) to get the newest version. This will require that you apply for an account which requires that you are a customer, and have registered the device with them. Then you can download the newer version of FLARE and upgrade the array to the newer version.

You can only access certain thinks on PowerLink depending on what products you have. You now use the Service Taskbar Manager to patch the array. What version of FLARE is installed on the array?
