Emails do not get distributed by our SBS Exchange 2003 to the original sender but are dumped into the BadMail folder
We send emails via the smarthost of our ISP and get bounce-mails forwarded by them. My problem is that these emails do not get distributed by our SBS Exchange 2003 to the original sender but are dumped into the BadMail folder. I guess it's because the sender of these mails is not (and cannot be) member of our domain. Do you have any idea how this can be fixed? Because it's a terrible effort to always observe the BadMail folder. Thanks a lot.

Answer Wiki:
Add the sender (ISP) address to the target user's Contacts. Check your junk email rules. Check forwarding rules for the BadMail folder owner's account for rules that may cause this. Check what other mail ends up in the BadMail folder and see what rules cause them to end up there. Use the information to exclude the ISP bounce messages.
