I use Exchange Server 2003 and OL2003 as client.
Why email size increases when moved to different folder (in a PST file). When deleted it mantains the same size, not when moved to a PST file.

By default, a .pst file doesn’t decrease in size as you’re deleting messages. You’ll need to manually compact the data file by going to;
Within Outlook, Go to: File | Data File Management
When the GUI Opens, Highlight your .pst file (Expand the Filename column to be sure you have the correct file) Then click the Settings Button. Here you should see a “Compact Now” Button. Click on it and it will reorganize the file and allow you to recapture empty space.
