We are using Exchange 2003 and for some reason, every time you send send an email to this one particular user, it goes to about 5 other people.  I checked to see if all mail was being forwarded.  Nope.  I checked to see if there was some kind of distribution list.  No.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

I found the answer to my problem. It was delegates, but it was delagates that were deleted sometime in the past so they were no longer showing up in the delegates list. To fix the problem, I downloaded MDBVU32.exe and followed the instructions here. Worked like a charm! Thanks for all your help…

Check the delegates list next. Is it all email that gets forwarded or just meeting requests? Also did you check the AD profile exchange general tab delivery options to see if forwarding is set up there.. If nothing is there check their profile for rules.

There could also be a rule in the user’s profile that is making this happen.

I checked the delegates and there are none set up. It's actually not email that is forwarded, it's when you just send an email that it gets sent to these 5 people. In fact, some of these people are no longer even in exchange. There is nothing forwarded under delivery options. I also checked for rules and there are none set up either. I am drawing a complete blank.

I just found out that it's not an email that is being sent. It's when this particular user is being invited to a meeting that these other 5 people also get invited...
