 Email: PC to laptop via wireless.

I have cable internet to home PC and wireless from cable to laptop. Laptop does not receive all the same messages as the PC. Why????

What messages are you talking about? Emails? What email client and OS are you using? Please give us some more specific information and we help you more. ********* Yes please provide more specifics. <b>IF</b> this is Outlook and you are set up with POP3 accounts with your ISP then you need to make sure you have selected to "leave a copy of messages on the server" in your account profile. Otherwise you are downloading the emails to one or the other machine that you are using at the time and therefore the other machine will not get that same message.

Thanks for your response. I found the “leave a copy of msgs on the server” and selected it. I will see how it works but it sounds good to me. Thanks.

In addition, you may consider checking one other option. Select (Check mark) “Remove from server when deleted from Deleted Items”. You will find this in the same area where you found the other option (under Advanced). I am using this option & I am satisfied with it. This will keep the file size in reasonable shape.

Thanks. Your suggestions worked fine. Now I received 2 copies of each email coming in through the wireless modem to my PC. The remote wireless laptops (2) each receive just one copy as per normal. Don’t know what causes that.

Might be you are using a different programs for your email. Look for more advice here computer laptop pc
