A friend sent an email twice today and it hasn't arrived. I checked junk mail, there's nothing there and also checked the mail server and nothing there. I have received mail from this person in the past so she has the correct email address. She was sending photos and I also checked large files with no luck? Can anyone help please?

    can anyone help please?

Probably not, at least not from here.

First, there is never a guarantee of delivery of e-mail, nor is there a guarantee of speed of delivery. If the sender doesn't receive some notice of non-delivery in the next couple days or so and if the e-mails that were previously sent don't show up in your account, ask the person to try again.

Second, the total size might be too big. If that's the case, it's likely that neither of you will get any notice at all. The e-mail items simply might be dropped by the server on your end or on the sender's end. Try smaller total sizes, e.g., send one or two instead of three or four at a time.

Third, something in the e-mail text body or in the images might be triggering a spam filter, on either end. Maybe sending again with a different text message and one photo at a time might give a clue.

Fourth, do other e-mails from the same sender come through okay today? It's not important if they came through previously. Your e-mail server might have "black-listed" the sender's e-mail server in the past day or two. If so, then e-mails could have come across two days ago, but not today.

There are other possibilities, but if you don't own and operate the e-mail servers, the only help available is through those who do.

Try to send this by split at least less than 9 mb, why I asked this, cause major email client like Yahoo supports 10 mb in total size, for an example though I don't know which utility u r using now. Or u can ask to take help by dnld File Sending Service a 3rd party tool that may help u. May be there is other reason, also u can contact with internet provider.

If it was a large file, the problem is on her end. Split the file or ZIP and have her try again. Also she should check to see if she received and Failure messages
