Email Forwarding Rule from Hotmail / Live Accounts Not Working
I have two hotmail / live accounts that I set a rule for to forward all received emails to a non-hotmail / live account so that I could view them on my mobile phone natively. I created the rule for both accounts on Outlook 2007: 1. Blank Rule 2. Received Messages 3. Through Specified Account (on this machine only) 4. Forward it to People (non-hotmail address) This seems pretty straightforward to me, but it doesn't work. Am I totally missing something. Some times if I force it to run manually the rule will work, but never consistently for every message. Please help! Thanks.

Answer Wiki:
Is Outlook running at the time you want this forwarding to happen? If you want to forward the message as soon as it arrives, then your Outlook client has to be active. These two Microsoft KB articles Here and Here might also be of some help. Good Luck! -Flame In addition to outlook being running you also have to have Outlook setup to automatically send and receive your email every few minutes.
