Email Format on AS/400 Fields

Hi,
I am trying to create a field on physical file, that has to store any email id such as xxxxxxyyyyzzzz@qqq.com.  Kindly let me know, how to go for this.What are the all definitions I need to specify for this field.

    A character field of sufficient length to contain a complete e-mail address should be sufficient.  To the best of my knowledge there is no e-mail address data type on the iSeries.

    yes as Splat suggested you can only save email in character fields.

    Just store in in an alpha field as mentioned. We have our email address defined as 50 A and have not had any issues.

    you will be validating email before saving in PF (make sure that should be a valid email address) and then store it in alpha field with sufficient length.
