email addres not shown in user’s properties in active directory

Hi to all, When I create a user account (and his proper mailbox), i duble click the object to view the users properties, then when i g to the email addresses tab, no email or alias is shown so no email service is currently activade with the "new" domain users. Does this had happen to anyone? Any hint will be really apreciated Windows server enterprise 2003 Exchange server 2003 both in HP blade servers Thank you!

How much time have you given it? In my organization it typically takes 30 minutes for the information to replicate and propogate the email address tab.
Do you have any errors in the event log?
Also check your recipient policy and try updating the RUS.

    Yes i know that i need to give it a little while, before i gave it like 5 minutes and then the account was there, in order to synch or something like that, but now 2 days later its in the same state and users are asking for their service! the event viewer doesnt show something inusual. how and what do i need to check in your 3erd suggestion? Thanks a lot for your time!

    In Exchange 2003 to update the RUS, open Exchange System Manger, expand the recipients container, click the recipient update service (RUS). Either double-click your RUS or right click and choose properties and make sure the update interval is set to what you want: hourly, every 2 hrs, always, or select customize and put in your own time selection. You can also check to see if it has the correct server to run the RUS. Next close the properties window, right-click the RUS and select "update now". If that still does not get things resolved you can also right click and choose rebuild. That may take a while depending on the size of your organization.
