Q:
Email access via Blackberry
We have two remote users (in Mexico) who have configured their Blackberries to allow access to their work emails.  As of two weeks ago, this process was working.  For reasons unknown, this has suddenly stopped working but they are still able to access their emails under other addresses.  No changes have been made to our Exchange server settings.  When attempting to set up the email on their Blackberries, they receive a message saying that their password is incorrect.  Again, no password changes have been made.  However, we did attempt to change one of the user's password but to no avail.

Any ideas or assistance would be very much appreciated.

Software/Hardware used:
Exchange Server 2003

Make sure the passwords are not expired and the accounts are not locked. Once you update an account give the changes time to replicate or manually replicate.

Are they able to login to OWA successfully?

Another thing to check is that your carrier in the local region is still presenting them with DATA traffic ie EDGE and GPRS. This seems like a BIS rather than BES issue,

Once you have confirmed that this is not the case then try and enterprise activiate the users without wiping. This should fix the issue…. hopefully.

NOTE:
You could also remove the CMIME service book and then resend the service books from the server
