Did you try and run disk cleanup and/or defrag on the system?

Is this an ISP POP3 account or an exchange account?Try removing your outlook profile and creating a new one. If this is a POP3 account try repairing the .pst with scanpst.. It would be helpful to know what you have tried so far. Uninstall/re-install office if creating a new outlook profile does not work. Was it working before and now does not work? Please provide more details. Thanks.

We are using Outlook 2003 on Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3. I have tried recreating the PST file with a new account setup to no affect. The curios thing is that this happens on all five of our networked PC’s. If you try sending an e-mail of around 4MB+ the error message appears and the message stays in the Outbox, but does actually get to the receipient. All machines are sending out on BT’s SMTP server and receiving on a third party POP3 Server.
I am experiencing the same issue.
