    Did u mean, en dashes and em dashes....When u type a space and one or two hyphens it automatically inserts an en dash ( – ). For example, See pages 5 - 10, it converts it to See pages 5 – 10 and If u type two hyphens and do not include a space before the hyphens, an em dash ( — ) is created. Thanks
