How do I change a invalid calculated value (due to some zero quantities) into a value of ZERO? I need to save this in a file for later pulling into a spreadsheet.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

If your program is generating a machine error, just monitor for the error number. Under the MONITOR event load your result field with zero.

Hi, Could you SQL the zero quantities to be correct before you run your query (or even after you've run your query)? Assuming that you have the invalid calculated value in result_field and the original zero quantity is in quantity_field :- /* Start SQL session */ STRSQL /* substitute your file name and field names */ UPDATE yourlib/yourfile SET result_field = 0 WHERE quantity_field = 0 Regards, Martin Gilbert.
