Q:
ECS RS400A and Inno3D 7200GS
I have an Inno3D 7200GS and an ECS RS400A mainboard. I have tried to get the card to work on this board but there is no throughput on VGA. I have been into the BIOS and set the Init First Display tag to PEG but still nothing. I was wondering if because it is an ATI chipset based board and the Graphics Card is Nvidia whether there is a clash of personalities?

Those devices should work fine together. Have you tried to video card in another machine to make sure that it's not DOA? Is there an on board video that needs to be disabled so that the card becomes the primary video card?

The card came from my other machine which is running a Gigabyte GA-M52S-S3P(Rev1.0) board and worked perfectly. I did go into the BIOS and turned off the On-Board VGA but it still doesn’t work. Screen is just blank and there is no HD activity. Could the BIOS need updating to support a PCIe 2.0 card?
