EBO file extension problem

I have 54 old color slides with ebo extensions, i.e., BROFIRS(1)-(f85c4146).ebo
Google search indicates that the EBO extension was used on Microsoft Reader eBook. I made the slides on a Windows XP nearly 15 years ago and must have opened them on a Reader of that vintage (I no longer have that PC or Reader). I have tried to tap an EBO slide into a current Microsoft Reader eBook but an error message says the associated book or file cannot be found. I have also tried several file exchangers but none of them worked. I don't know where else to find a solution, so this is the first time I have tried this approach of sending my problem to some place. Thank you, Don Corbly.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Most of the links I found for the subject has been discontinued, but, here are two links that just might be able open you.ebo files:

http://www.solvusoft.com/en/file-extensions/file-extension-ebo/

http://www.file-extension.org/extensions/ebo

Good luck.

You may need to re associate the extension like .ebo, open explorer, find .ebo file(s), right click on it and chose open with and find the MS reader (if you have). Select it and then check the box at the bottom to always use this program to open this kind of file. Or you can set default programs through control panel.
