How do answers get accepted to earn the certified cogs?
If you answer is the one that helps the person who asked the question, then we’re asking the question-asker to hit the grey check mark next to the answer you provided. Then it will be classified as approved–and after providing enough approved answers you will get a certified cog.
Please Note: We need everyone who asks a question to return to their question once they’ve resolved the issue and approve the answer that provided the solution.
Here is more information on approving answers around the forums. We were having trouble with this before, but have applied a fix, so if anyone runs into additional problems, please let us know!
We are currently reviewing the badges program, and we will announce about whether the badges and prizes are retroactive. Thank you for your patience, and we’re excited to get this program rolling!
Best,
Melanie
Thanks so much.
You really do a great job of encouraging us to put in quality answers to questions.
Awesome idea!
Now if there were only more Linux questions posted so that I could level up faster… oh well.
Slack400,
We’ve got tons of Linux questions, have you answered them all?

Sticker and ITKnowledgeExchange t-shirt is only for US Canada, and Europe.??
What about others?
I appreciate the contributions made by community members.I would like to second RamvishaRar. And I would suggest that it would be of much importance to other members who do not come from locations of Reward.Above all knowledge is our most priority. So why so the other be given I manuals(soft copy notes) in terms of reward to help them advance their knowhow.
If shipment is a problem, an Amazon gift voucher also will do… A reward in any form is inspiring.. Who ever responsible, kindlly look into this
Hi Ramvishak,
I sent you an Amazon gift card a couple weeks ago via email, but it seems you haven’t received it. Please check your spam folder, and if it is not there, email me (brubenstein@techtarget.com) and I can send another.
