 E-mailing documents from Word
When trying to email a document, letter from Word I get the following error message " This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program or if one has already been installed create an association in the Default Programs control program" How do I do this?_

Open Default Programs by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, and then clicking Default Programs. In Default Programs, you can:

  • Set your default programs. Use this option to choose which programs you want Windows to use by default. In this case, Windows will be looking for an email program to mail your Word document with.
