E-mail preference question

Lotus Notes 7.x, Lotus Notes

I know this probably doesn't seem important, but when I delete or file an e-mail, I would like to be brought back to the Inbox rather than having the next e-mail opened automatically. I know that Outlook was able to do this but I cannot locate the preference in Lotus Notes 7, which is what I am now using (regretfully!)

There is an existing enhancement request to change the behavior as you've described. It is being tracked as SPR ADEE7DJGVY. There is currently low demand for a change to the functionality, but it's something that will be considered if additional customers indicate a preference for the proposed behavior.
