I am testing various software packages against a standard OS configuration. I am running VMWARE server. Is there a way to duplicate a VM? I then can run my tests against the standard VM. Delete it and start a new batch against a virgin copy of the configured OS.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Create a snapshot before starting and the rollback to that snapshot. Delete all other snapshots. You can also just copy back the VM image into the folder from a master repository.

I got lost in the web interface. Thanks, I just tried it and it works perfectly. The vote thing is wrong.

You can always copy the base image into new folders, edit the config file. Start the new vm and rename the machine. I also use newsid from sysinternals and generate new system info.
