If I send a message to three different group lists and a person is in all three groups they get the message three times. Is there a way to avoid this?

Answer Wiki:
If you are using regular POP3 and SMTP email servers then no, because each group will be getting a separate message which show as separate to the mail server.

Can you tell us what program you are using please? It’s difficult to answer a question without knowing any details. What version and what patch level too please.

Also are these personally created groups or centrally located groups? Again details are needed to get a useful answer. Thanks.

Yep, sorry, not sure how I left that out. We are using Exchange Server and they are centrally located groups. Thanks, Robert
