Duplicate Calendar, Tasks, Contacts in Outlook 2007
I have a user who has had some problems with a laptop. During the fix process, it was noticed that he now has two task folders and more urgently, two calendar folders. One has all of his historic meetings, the second one was blank. But, any new meeting requests are pushed into the new one and not the historic one. We cannot close either of them and if we try and cut historic data from one to the other all of the recurrence and meeting update links will break. This is in Outlook 2007, running on Exchange 2003. Is there a way to get him back to one calendar?

Software/Hardware used:
Outlook 2007, Exchange 2003.

Answer Wiki:
If you follow the below link you should be able to merge your calendars or at least show both. http://www.timeatlas.com/5_minute_tips/general/merging_microsoft_outlook_calendars Let us know how it goes. Good luck. ************* You can also try running the switch outlook.exe /resetfolders to reset the default to its original heirarchy. (Close outlook, go to the run line and type the command. It will re-open outlook and resolve the folder issues.) You should then be able to delete the second calendar. I saw this same thing happen to one of my users and the resetfolders switch worked.

I’m experiencing the exact same issue with one of our users after recreating her Outlook profile. Just curious as to how you resolved this.
