 Ubuntu installing into D-drive
i have windows 7 installed on local drive. i have 3 partitions c, d, and e.. i want ubuntu to be installed in d drive. there are files in d drive which i don't really care about. i tried but it displayed some mount error. I'm new to this and have no idea what to do

Yes I agree with jinteik…especially if you are new in doing this…Virtual machine helps to install Ubuntu next your Host O.S. Can be easily managed and removed any time without messing your O.S.
