 doubts about raid
Can we use two raid groups at a time in a storage system? ie can we use both raid 10 and raid 6 on the same set of drives?

You can, however, allocate half of your disks to RAID 10 and the other half of your disks to RAID 6.  When you wrote "on the same set of drives" it seemed like you wanted to have a drive in a RAID 10 group at the same time have the drive in a RAID 6 group;  that feature is not likely.

Generally, no.  But the Clariion definitely has some features that give you flexibility regarding Lun storage allocation, so having not worked with the new Clariions I can’t be certain.  That’s a feature you can talk to your EMC sales engineer about.
