Hi,

I believe this may depend on the record length.

Regards,

Martin Gilbert.

I believe *nomax means no maximum. You can add as many records as you like. Be aware that with the iSeries single-level store, where main memory and auxiliary memory (disk) share a single address space, when you fill up your disk your computer crashes. I see this as the reason to impose a limit, to protect from run-away program loops.

Hi, *NOMAX really means that the limits for the current OS apply - so maximum number of records, maximum object size, maximum access path size, etc are still applicable. Regards, Martin Gilbert.
