Domino-SMTP Mail Gateway
Hello,
will highly appreciate your prompt assistance.
I have a domino 5.0.9 mail server with SMTP enabled.
i dont want my server to be directly on the net to further secure my enterprise.
I want to set up a gateway server on another machine such that internet mail will be routing to server 2.
How do i go about linking this 2 servers together such that they can communicate?

Answer Wiki:
1. Create Global Domain with name SMTP and fill all necessary fields
2. Create Foreign SMTP domain: Messages addressed to
Internet domain: *.*
should be routed to domain: SMTP
3. Create connection document (Connection type SMTP):
dest. server: Internet
dest. domain: SMTP
Routing task: SMTP Mail routing
Enable SMTP Mail routing on new server.
