Thank You in advance, Maurizio

Answer Wiki:
Go to the Domino console and enter the command: load object collect mailfilename.nsf The message means that the body of a message pointed to by a link in the user's mailbox is no longer present in the object store. The Object collect process removes the link from the user's mailbox. The only way to recover the message is to restore the object store known to hold the message from backup. -Jim

Go to the Domino console and enter the command:

load object collect mailfilename.nsf

The message means that the body of a message pointed to by a link in the user’s mailbox is no longer present in the object store. The Object collect process removes the link from the user’s mailbox.

The only way to recover the message is to restore the object store known to hold the message from backup.

Thank You Jim for your reply,

good suggestion, I tried, but without luck…

so I build another object store, tell router to use it, and currently the messages are delivered… but I want to suggest my customer to disable this feature… I heard of many problems with Domino 4 or R5, do you know if in last Domino versions this feature is more stable?

Regards,

Maurizio

Run the object collect task against the object store(s) as well.

I used shared mail for eight years on R4 and R5. I stopped when we upgraded to ND6 in 2004. The management overhead out weighed any savings in storage.
