Answer Wiki:
Lotus Domino is a platform independent SW. Needless to say that, Linux is a good platform for Lotus Domino. It is known that, LD is a product of IBM and IBM tries to help to drive adoption and support for Linux. It is a good SW for seeking an extensive groupware environment. Specially, who needs to focus for e-mail and calendaring, there are plenty of solutions that may offer rich e-mail, calendaring, tasks and personal and global address books at much lower cost and complexity in Linux OS. Actually, OS is not so important when u work in LD. Mostly it works as same as it is on Windows OS. Of course Linux has more free tools and open source under gnu. Only thing is required, more expert is required to operate Linux.
