Hi, I want help regarding the Domino Notes Session. I want to access Lotus Notes Database through vb6 code. and when I write Session.Initialize("password"), it prompts for the password again even though I specified in the quotes. This requires my notes software to run parallel and doesnot prompts when it is running.

Lotus Notes 7.0 is being used

Pls i need urgent help. Thanks!

I'm not sure I fully understand the question, but If this code is run by a user: ... check the user's Lotus Notes to ensure that the User Security setting is checked "Don't prompt for a password from other Notes-based programs...). If the code is run unattended on a server: ... install NotesSQL. This link takes you to a page with download links and user guides for the various versions.

Authentification in Lotus is based on ID file. If you wish to authentify with a single password, you have to access (if it is Ok in the database ACL) with your HTTP password (set in Person in your public adress book)
