 Domino mail backup
Email, Lotus Domino
I am running Domino on my iSeries. When I attempt to backup the mailboxes (*.nsf) on the IFS, some are not backed up because they are in use. I realize that the best way is to bring the domino server down. On days that this is not possible, is it safe to set the file attribute *ALWCKPWRT = *YES ?

The easiest solution would be to install a Domino plugin for you Backup software. This should read the Domino dbs regardless of the open/closed state. Alternatively you could schedule Domino to quit at a scheduled time, followed by a a restart via Windows scheduled tasks.
